Company Profile

Tongkah Medivest Sdn Bhd was formed to take over support services for government hospitals in southern peninsular Malaysia.  The government concession is for some nineteen hospitals and the services provided are:

1. Facilities Engineering Maintenance
2. Biomedical Engineering Maintenance
3. Clinical Waste Management
4. Linen Services Management
5. Cleaning Services

Support services are important to all establishments to a greater or lesser degree, but in the case of hospitals they are crucial.  By nature hospitals demand a high degree of cleanliness and have a heavy reliance on services and equipment.   Indeed many engineering support systems are described as life support functions.

Tongkah Medivest are continually enhancing the quality of services and improving operating methods.  Investments in new infrastructure and modern machinery is enhancing both the quality of service provided and contributing to environmental cleanliness both in the built and the natural environment.

In addition to the five basic services, Tongkah Medivest in conjunction with our local and international associates can provide a hospital planning and design service which includes:

1. Planning and Space Utilisation
2. Installation and Maintenance of Specialist Equipment
3. Clean Room Facilities
4. Operating Theatre Suite Design and Maintenance
5. Laboratories
6. Equipment Evaluation and Maintenance

Tongkah Medivest have operational centres throughout the southern peninsula.   These centres, are planned on the geographical spread of the country's core business of health support services and form a springboard from which we are able to service other clients.

Tongkah Medivest will have a base near to your facility and can provide services quickly and efficiently.

Tongkah Medivest will provide resident staff, or on a visiting basis depending on the level of service required.
