Government Hospitals
Tongkah Medivest Sdn Bhd was formed
to take over support services for the Malaysian government hospitals in southern
peninsular Malaysia. The government concession is for some nineteen hospitals and
the services provided are as mentioned below:
- Facilities Engineering Maintenance
- Facilities Engineering Maintenance is concerned with the efficient and regular
servicing of plant and equipment, to minimise breakdowns and interruptions, prompt
attention when things do go wrong, system efficiency and energy conservation and forward
planning to ensure that the company's growth is matched with he environment within which
it operates.
- Biomedical Engineering Maintenance
- Tongkah Medivest are well versed in the maintenance and management of this
valuable resource. Our engineers can also assist clinicians in selection of equipment
based on our experience of product back up, spare parts and down time of equipment.
- Clinical Waste Management
- We will provide a complete service to our clients including staff training on the
segregation and handling of waste if required. We can also provide all the necessary
colour coded bags, sharps containers and collection bins. We can also advise on dealing
with spillage's in the safest and most efficient manner.
- Linen Services Management
- Our company is also mindful of the high standards required in the hotels service
industry and of the importance placed on a quality service by clients. All too frequently
we see expensive linen ruined through inappropriate laundering techniques and poor
finishing. Tongkah Medivest ensures a quality product with the correct application of
detergents, water quality control and above all, care over the finished product.
- Cleaning Services
- Keeping a hospital clean can be one of the most demanding jobs encountered by
cleaning contractors. Hospital cleaning staff must co-ordinate their activities with
clinical and nursing staffs as well as the public. Tongkah Medivest are responsible for
maintaining all hospitals within strict operating codes and performance is monitored very
closely.
